With autumn fast approaching, there has interestingly been a second wind of spring at the farm. The familiar tone of Peachicks caught my ear. Those that know the sound will know! And sure enough, from around the corner appeared my Peahen with two new babies.

There is never a dull moment here at the farm, and on this particular day, a few of its residents made it into National print. The ultra friendly animals, an array of interesting nooks, crannies and aesthetics and a scattering of old tools and equipment, made Lake Farm the place of choice for a Sunday Telegraph’s Stella Magazine photo shoot.
